Winter is officially near!

Well, it’s that time of year again. Where did the summer go? You have probably noticed the days getting shorter, the kids are back in school, and you may have seen notices of ski shop sales. It’s time to start thinking about your ski trips for the coming winter. There has already been snow in parts of New England any many of the major resorts in New England & Eastern Canada plan to open in mid November. That’s only about two weeks away!

There have been quite a few changes at various areas. To highlight a couple, Loon Mountain in New Hampshire is in the second year of their South Peak expansion with more trails coming on line this year. Sunday River in Maine has installed their Chondola that will take you up the mountain in a 6 person chair or an enclosed gondola cabin. Tours De Sport has added Gore Mountain in the Adirondacks of New York to our list of resorts this year.
