Whistler after the Games

Whistler Post-Olympics is the perfect time to visit Whistler!

With a new highway that has decreased the travel time between Vancouver & Whistler, and some of the best facilities in the world, there has never been a better time to visit Whistler.

Having lived in this resort for 14 years, living through the Olympics in 2010 was one of the most fantastic experiences I have had the opportunity to be a part of.

Whistler locals got to truly enjoy the spirit of the Olympics, hosting the skiing downhill events, Nordic events and the bobsled, visitors can see where it all happened, while enjoying some of the best skiing in North America.

Worried about crowds? Don’t be. It is a huge misconception that Olympic towns get overrun by tourists. In fact, Whistler is looking for business more than ever, and the result is lots of specials, deals for couples, families, long stays, etc. Ski the resort with the most skiable terrain in North America – over 1200 acres!
